Lina Rahouma
sports nutrition, adolescent, and women’s health registered dietitian
Languages Spoken: English, French, Arabic
I grew up a little all over the world, moving from country to country with my family. While it wasn’t ideal at the time, looking back I learnt that it developed my great appreciation and curiosity for different cultural food practices and has given me the ability to speak Arabic, English and French fluently. Both contribute significantly to my current practice. My curiosity around different dietary practices was a driving factor in pursuing dietetics. Â
After completing my B.A.Sc in Nutrition and food, I went on to do my dietetic internship at Sick Kids hospital with a focus on pediatric and adolescent health and nutrition. During my studies, having an athletic background encouraged me to become a fitness coach and swim instructor, which I have been doing since second year. In my free time, you can find me testing out fun recipes with ingredients that don’t typically go together, dropping down into some push ups, or enjoying the outdoors with loved ones!
I work with a variety of clients and specialize in sports nutrition, adolescent, and women’s health. I take a weight inclusive lifestyle modification and behaviour change approach to my practice, where I work with you to devise actionable goals to achieve your bigger health and performance outcomes. I focus on empowering you with strategies and tools that would permit you to succeed beyond our work together. If you’re interested in exploring how we can work together further, book a free discovery call with me!Â
