Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant
Hi, I’m Sarah. I’m a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant, a Math and Science Educator of 14 years, and a mom of two (with baby number three on the way!).
I know firsthand that when you are running on empty, it is nearly impossible to be the parent, partner, or professional you want to be. My journey into sleep consulting began in 2020, at the height of the pandemic. Like many new moms, I found myself navigating lockdown with a newborn, skyrocketing anxiety, and no support system. The resulting sleep deprivation took a toll on my mental health.
Leveraging my background in science, I dove into the research. I became fascinated by infant brain development, physiological milestones, and the biology of sleep. By applying evidence-based, gentle foundations and establishing sustainable routines, I transformed our nights. The shift was life-changing. When I started sleeping again, my postpartum experience improved exponentially. I could finally enjoy my baby, reconnect with my husband, and show up for my family with energy and joy. I knew then that I wanted to help other families reclaim that same sense of peace.
My approach is fundamentally different from “cry it out” or “extinction” methods. I do not believe in leaving babies to cry alone or ignoring their distress. Instead, I specialize in Responsive Sleep Support. This means we improve sleep while you remain 100% present, comforting, and responsive to your child. I believe a parent’s instinct to soothe their baby is sacred and should never be “trained” out of them.
A caregiver’s mental health is a primary pillar of a child’s healthy development. My mission is to provide gentle, holistic, and science-backed adjustments that help the whole family thrive. Together, we will build a sleep routine that offers both the structure you need and the flexibility your life demands.
