Roasted Chickpea Snack
These roasted chickpea snacks are loaded with vitamins, minerals, protein, and fibre! They are the perfect addition to any movie night whether you choose to mix them in your trail mix, popcorn, or just eat them on its own. Not to mention, they are perfect to top off your salads. The best part is, you can absolutely spice them however you'd like and depending how you feel! Try adding a little bit of cinnamon if you want a sweet treat, or a bit of cayenne powder if you're feeling extra spicy. Ingredients
- 1 Can Chickpeas Cooked
- 2 Tbsp Avocado Oil
- 2-4 Tsp Spices of Choice Cumin, Rosemary, Cinnamon, thyme, Curry Powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Rinse and drain the canned chickpeas, and let them sit until dried.
- Place parchment paper on a baking sheet and lay chickpeas out evenly.
- Drizzle avocado oil and sprinkle spices over chickpeas.
- Roast the chickpeas in the oven for 20-30 minutes or until the chickpeas are crisp.
