Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp Avocado Oil
- ½ lbs Flank Steak Very Thinly Sliced
- 3 Cloves Garlic
- ½ Cup White Onion
- 1 Green Onion Chopped
- 1 Tbsp Fresh Ginger Minced
- 4 Cups Broccoli Florets
- 2 Tbsp Cornstarch
- ¾ Cup Water
- ⅓ Cup Low-Sodium Soy Sauce Or Tamari or Coconut Aminos
- 1 Tbsp Hoisin Sauce
- Sesame Seeds Garnish
Instructions
- Heat the oil, 1/2 tbsp fresh ginger, 1/4 cup white onion and 1 clove of garlic in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the beef and cook until well-browned, about 6-8 minutes.
- In the same pan, add the remaining garlic, white onion, and ginger to the beef drippings. Add broccoli and cover for 5 minutes.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine water, soy sauce, and cornstarch until no longer lumpy.
- Add sauce mixture to the pan and cook until sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
- Serve over brown rice or quinoa, if desired.
