Leek and Black Pepper Salmon

Leek and Black Pepper Salmon is extremely quick, easy, cheap, and nutritious! However, it is an especially great recipe for those who are pregnant. During pregnancy, seafood is very beneficial for both your health and your baby's! Just be cautious of mercury levels in seafood. What's great about salmon is that it has low levels of mercury. Not to mention, salmon is full of B-vitamins, protein, iron, selenium, potassium, and omega-3 fatty acids. Salmon is also great for heart health, as it increases good cholesterol. In your pregnancy, 2-3 servings of seafood are recommended. This recipe is a delicious addition to meeting your needs!

  • 6 Oz Salmon Filet
  • ¼ Cup Leeks Diced
  • ¼ Tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Tsp Garlic Minced

  • Add all the ingredients to the salmon filet.
  • Bake in an oven for 15-17 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
